Hello guys

Hello guys! Well, i am glad to be here with you. I am a computer programmer i was studying in a USA university 2 years ago with master in robotics. So maybe you are wondering why i am here messing up with L2 things while i have my job? well lineage is just a hobbie i love to do. I havent saw a nice emulator so far since me and some classmates made one but we needed to stop it due to some problems with our school about using their servers to run it cause it was really using a large amount of data due to C++. we builded it in C++ because all you may know that C is a more effective language than Java and gives you more options. Anyways i'm here to work with you and i hope this will be a great project.

I was thinking to convert the whole project to C++
...but we would lose all of our l2j compatibility.

with C++, you will have a lot more features to work on and many more options to try but its really a hard work! also C++ will create a more "heavy" emulator so many people will have problems running then on simple Home desktops

Servers shouldn't be ran off of simple home desktops anyways Will eliminate the ones that are.

Thats a good point but it will eliminate the feedback of users, because only a few can afford a dedicated machine to run a server!

you could leave java and make parallel project on c++ (or c#)
although would be more to do to update both servers
but instead it will satisfy dedicate server and desktop pc users
