is better to use this ram or this and why please tell me:

Corsair XMS3 8GB DDR3-1600 Kit (2x4GB, PC3-12800, 9-9-9-27, CMX8GX3M2A1600C9)

or

Transcend 8 GB DDR2-667 Ram Kit ECC Registered (2x4GB, CL5, 240Pin, TS8GCQ8854)

And if second ram is better i can add it on normal pc motherboard not (server motherboard) ?
